Dr. Surapaneni Krishna Mohan
An alumnus of Kasturba Medical College, Manipal and a medical teacher having specialized in Medical Biochemistry, Medical Education, Bioethics, Bioinformatics, Molecular virology, and Public Health, Population Health Informatics, he has over 18 years of astounding academic, teaching and research experience across various prestigious medical institutions in India. He is a FAIMER Fellow and acquired various additional qualifications in Medical Education like Certificate in Medical & Health Sciences Education (CIMHSE) from The University of Hong Kong; and Masters in Health Professions Education (MHPE) from Keele University, UK and FAIMER, USA. He is an active fellow and life member of various professional societies at national and international level. He is a Fellow of prestigious Royal Society of Chemistry (RSC), The Linnean Society of London, UK, International Medical Sciences Academy (IMSA) and he was the recipient of “Young Investigator Award” at Hong Kong – Shanghai International Liver Congress, Hong Kong, International Union of Biochemistry and Molecular Biology (IUBMB) – Young Scientist award for his outstanding contributions and research excellence. He was awarded the prestigious “Chartered Scientist” qualification, which represents a single chartered mark for all scientists, recognizing high levels of professionalism and competence in science, by “The Science Council” and “The Royal Society of Chemistry”. He is a proactive researcher who conducts extensive research in the key biomedical areas and publishes research articles in various national and International scientific journals with high impact factor. He has published around 211 research papers in various peer-reviewed, indexed journals of national and international repute and has been serving as an editorial board member of reputed journals. In addition, he peer reviews several international journals and has a few patents as well. Currently, he heads the departments of Research, Medical Education, Molecular Virology, Clinical Skills & Simulation, Bioethics and serving as Vice Principal & Professor of Biochemistry at Panimalar Medical College Hospital & Research Institute, Chennai, India.
Dr. Jenifer M Ambrose
She is a dedicated biomedical researcher and is competent in the domains of Bioinformatics, Biotechnology, Genomics, Molecular Modelling, Cancer Biology, and Data Science. She has more than 10 years of academic and industrial research experience. She has published several high quality research articles in internationally renowned journals, as a result of her innovative research.
Dr. Malathi Kullappan
She is a Bioinformatics enthusiast and has expertise in the areas of Virtual Screening, Molecular Docking, Pharmacophore Mapping, QSAR, Molecular Dynamics Simulations, Phytochemical Analysis, Antioxidant Assays, and Drug Discovery Studies. She has 10+ years of experience in academic research working in key biomedical domains like Structural Biology, Proteomics, and Antibiotic Resistance. She has published many research articles in various reputed international journals.
Dr. V. Vishnu Priya
She received PhD in Biochemistry from Saveetha University. Her work was on anticancer efficacy of pericarp extract of Garcinia mangostana on hepatocellular carcinoma. She is a fellow in international medical sciences academy and has undergone training program in regenerative medicine at University of Toronto, Canada. She has received fellowships from Okinawa Institute of Science and Technology, Japan and International Federation of Clinical Chemistry, Fortaleza, Brazil for best scientific presentations. She has bagged the prestigious “Saveetha Ratna Award” in 2016, Best Faculty Award in 2018, 2019 and Young Achiever Award in 2012 as well as Prof. Kameswara Roa Award in 2016. She is a guide for PhD Programme and a reviewer in reputed journals. She has organised conferences, seminars and workshops. She has presented papers in International conferences held at Mauritius, Hong Kong, Brazil and UAE. The Vishnu Priya Lab is interested in cancer biology, herbal medicine and medical education.
